Today Nifty 50 plunges by 460.35 points and gave a closing in red. Nifty 50 Closed at 21571.95 points which is 2.09% lower than the previous day’s closing price. Nifty 50 opened more than 380 points gap down today.

After opening gap-down Nifty bounced till the level of 21850. After then NIfty fell gradually till the day’s low to close at the level of 21571.95.

During today’s trading session Nifty 50 made a high of 21851.50 and a low of 21550.45. On the daily time frame, Nifty made a shooting star candle with a long upper shadow. Which is a very bearing sign. Nifty managed to close below the level of 21750 which is another bearish sign because this level is very crucial for Nifty 50.

The benchmark index Nifty 50 plunged to its biggest single-day fall in 18 months. It’s mainly due to HDFC Bank’s disappointing Q3 results.

During today’s trading session Sensex made a high of 72484.80 and a low of 71429.30. After a gapdown opening of more than 1300 points nifty formed a green candle on 5min chart and took resistance at the level of 72490, after that Sensex fell gradually to close at 71500.

Today Banknifty tumbles by 2060.65 points to close at 46064.45 points whichis -4.28% lower than the previous day’s closing price.

The day commenced with a challenging scenario as Bank Nifty encountered big a gap down of more than 1500 points, setting the tone for the entire trading session. The index continued its descent throughout the day, reflecting heightened volatility that could potentially impact investor confidence.

This fall in Banknifty is mainly due to the fall in HDFC Bank. The heavy weight stock in banknifty, which is HDFC Bank gave a intraday fall of -8.44% which is its biggest decline in percentage terms since May, 2020 when it had tanked 7.86%.

All the stocks in the Banknifty index were trading in red today. The fall in HDFC Bank has created a ripple effect in the entire banking and financial sector.

Banknifty opened gapdown and after the first tick it made a bullish candle on the five minute chart. After that it took resistance at 47200 level. After than banknifty fell continuously to the low of the day to close at 46064.45.
