HDFC Bank’s Robust Performance in Q3 FY24: 33.5% Surge in Net Profit
On January 16, HDFC Bank disclosed a net profit of Rs 16,372 crore for the October-December quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, indicating a significant 33.5 percent surge compared to the Rs 12,259 crore recorded in the same period the prior year.
The reported net profit of Rs 16,372 crore closely aligns with market expectations, estimated at Rs 16,427 crore. The net interest income (NII) for the quarter stood at Rs 28,470 crore, marking a robust 23.9 percent rise from the Rs 22,990 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
